Welcome to Troop B!

We’re 1st Hersham Scout Troop B, offering an exciting and adventurous choice for young people in Surrey.

Our members are boys and girls aged 10 to 14, who enjoy an exhilarating array of activities and opportunities. Everything is geared towards helping the scouts fulfil their potential and develop skills in leadership, teamwork and communication.

Alongside our weekly meetings, we also have a regular programme of camps and activities. Highlights have included surfing, mountaineering, canoeing, skiing, horse riding, mini moto, microlighting and caving – the list goes on!

We run activities in the Lake District, South Downs, Surrey Hills, Scotland and beyond. We’ve taken scouts to Canada, Switzerland, Austria, France, Alaska and New Zealand. Next Summer we’re heading to North Wales for our Summer Camp, and in 2013 we’re off to Utah.
